I have always really been interested in Yoga but have NEVER tried it. I really want to see what all the fuss is about! I would love to try some great relaxing/stretching yoga first before I got into the strength building kind. Anyone have tips on some positions or maybe a site that explains how to do it, or even some free videos before I go out and buy stuff? Is there some beginner stuff on fitsugar?

I think if you go on youtube and search beginner yoga they have videos of like 10 minute routines. Amazing as it is, even the easy stuff is strength building!
I was into yoga when I was like 17, but got away from it. Now I'm 27 and I'm trying to get
back into it, and I love it. (wii fit is working wonders!)
1I'd actually recommend taking a class if there's one near you. A lot of studios let you try a class for free. That way, you may be able to try a few styles of yoga and see what you like, since your tastes may have changed in the last 10 years. Good luck!
2If you get the FitTV channel there is a show called Namaste Yoga. It is 30 minutes long and for all levels. The yogi is actually a yoga therapist and leads a very peaceful, healthy program. I DVR a couple of episodes for days when I want more than 30 minutes. Put on your stretchiest clothes and try it! You'll love it.
3I used to follow the NAmaste Yoga as well...It is really easy to follow and so soothing
