Alright you guys. I'm having this problem in my yoga class. There is this Ashtanga class that I really love every week, but there's this guy who apparently loves it too. He practices with a rug because he gets really sweaty, and I swear, I don't think he's ever washed it in his life. It stinks like a combination of B.O., mildew, and sour milk. It doesn't matter where I am in the class (the room isn't very big) - I can ALWAYS smell his stink.
Any suggestions?

Set yourself up on the other side of the class.
1Gross. Just gross. A rug? I'd talk to the instructor and see if he/she offers classes at another time or on another night, and explain why. They'll either give you a schedule or talk to the guy so you don't have to.
2Wow. That's a tough one. It's just as bad as someone who doesn't ever wash their exercise clothes.
I can't believe it doesn't bother they guy using it. I'd feel sick if I had to breathe that stink for the entire class.
Maybe you should talk to the teacher and the teacher could make a general statement in class about how to wash your yoga rugs.
